Meeting Paula Sacristán: Fashion, Marketing and Digital Strategies with a Human Touch

Hello! I’m Paula Sacristán, passionate about fashion and marketing, two worlds that I have merged throughout my career to help brands and people stand out in the digital environment.

My Story

Since I was very young, fashion has been a constant in my life, I was even a child model. For me, fashion is another discipline of art; I am passionate about it and I have been trained in all its facets: painting, theatre, music, violin… Creating an ecosystem that constantly nurtures creativity. What would we be without creativity? We wouldn’t get very far.

As a child, my favourite game was to dress up and create new looks; all my drawings were fashion design. However, I didn’t want to study fashion… I wanted something creative, yes, but I wanted to do it through marketing, my true passion.

I was lucky enough to start my career at Axe, Unilever, thanks to the awards I won for my high school work. Working with one of the big brands confirmed my passion for marketing and advertising. My goals were clearer than ever.

And now, what should I study?

The business world, entrepreneurship and economics have always fascinated me, which is why I decided to study Business Administration and Management (ADE). I wanted to learn about the business world with rigour and a vision of the future, always with the idea of having my own project. During my undergraduate studies, I specialised in marketing and, after four years and a specialisation in marketing, I decided to go deeper with a master’s degree in digital marketing and e-commerce. I liked the degree, but I was passionate about this specialisation.

My mission is clear: to leverage my experience and creativity to develop effective and authentic digital marketing strategies, assisting brands in standing out in today’s competitive digital landscape.

My Career

While I was studying, fashion continued to be a constant in my life. Among other projects, I worked as a visual merchandiser in a large retail-fashion company and, later, in digital marketing in a human resources consultancy specialising in luxury and fashion.

Indeed, a great deal of marketing and fashion.

Social Media career: Destiny or Coincidence?

Influencer: Is It a Birthright or a Craft?

This is a question I am frequently asked. Allow me to share my experience so you can draw your own conclusions.

During my master’s degree in digital marketing and e-commerce, as a school exercise, I launched a project called Mediterranean Style: a blog with style tips and a profile on TikTok with tips and fun facts about fashion history. What started as an academic exercise quickly turned into an influential social media platform, I began to grow very quickly! I could never have imagined it!

I created a wonderful community of women and, at the end of the academic project, I decided to continue and support it.

It was then that I truly understood the importance of personal branding and digital strategy. Thanks to Mediterranean Style, the doors to the world of work opened for me in a much easier way. If you don’t have a strong personal brand nowadays, you’re at a big disadvantage.

My profile as a content creator has become the perfect balance between two worlds I am passionate about: fashion and marketing.

When you’re aligned with what you love, it becomes evident.

Why Did I Decide to Launch My Digital Strategy Business?

Throughout my career in marketing, I have observed a recurring problem: communication in digital marketing is broken. Haven’t you seen brands with big budgets, teams and resources that barely get 100 views and 3 likes on social networks? In our eagerness to sell, we forget the most important thing: establishing genuine human relationships. Simply give, connect with our audience and create community. I assure you that sales will follow.

This was my motivation to help other businesses, both fashion and non-fashion, with their social media and digital strategy.

My Approach to Digital Strategy

I firmly believe that an effective digital strategy goes beyond TikTok, Instagram and social media posts. It’s about authentically connecting with your audience, understanding their needs and delivering content that resonates with them. My goal is to help you, both as a professional and as a business, find that ‘out of the box angle’ that will allow you to stand out and build lasting relationships with your followers.

In the end, you must treat your business with the rigour of digital marketing strategy it deserves and nurture it with content from a true content creator.

Growing on social media is NOT impossible, despite what some may believe.

Look at all the content creators who connect with their communities! It is possible!

Focus on those who are achieving results and have a powerful strategy for 2024. Don’t fill your marketing with boring, empty, corporate content. Sometimes, everything is simpler; just approach it as if you were an influencer and connect with your audience.

In Conclusion

My passion for fashion and digital marketing has led me to develop a unique and human approach to digital strategies. Yes, we are marketing and sales, but we are also a magical connection with our community. I’m here to help you transform your online presence, creating real and meaningful connections with your audience.
